I started to keep track with the Glasspar, but after a point, I just stopped. I probably just didn't want my wife to ever find the records :) There were no very expensive single purchases, but everything adds up- $50 here and there for hardware, sandpaper, etc, A couple of hundred for paint and primer, or an order of Epoxy... Looking back, I PROBABLY should have just bought a finished boat. But- What fun would that be? -Andrew

After not being able to get a lot done on this for a while, I am back. The deck is off the hull and upside down on my new cart. I am reinforcing the foredeck stringers, removing the rest of the poorly installed flap for he hull/deck screws and replacing the wood strip strip around the cockpit. After that, it is on to bead blasting to remove the gelcoat. http://www.fiberglassics.com/images/fbfiles/images/deck_on_cart___Copy.JPG http://www.fiberglassics.com/images/fbfiles/images/Foredeck_reinforcement___Copy.JPG The hull awaits floor and transom replacement (with plywood - I made my decision) http://www.fiberglassics.com/images/fbfiles/images/hull_with_deck_off___Copy.JPG The fairing on teh hardtop continues http://www.fiberglassics.com/images/fbfiles/images/hardtop_fairing___Copy.JPG

Epoxy is probably your best bet. I'd thicken it with some cabosil or another material to make it a little thicker, it'll be easier to deal with, and it'll fill some of the small gaps better.

Hey David, Yup, I am pretty sure that the seats are original. They have the "storage lockers" mentioned in the literature. The original foam blocks that were inside the seats are also there. The wooden seat bases are rotten, but enuff is there to replicate new ones. I do have the glove box cover. There is another Tangier for sale on craigs list right now in Isanti, MN - it's in the Minneapolis craigs list. Andreas
